The Tigers cap their undefeated 2018 season with a league-high four AFL major awards and twelve players named to the AFL all-star team. All three MVP nods were earned by Tigers, in addition to Coach of the Year being award to Mark Haggett for the second time (2016, 2018). 

MAJOR ATLANTIC FOOTBALL LEAGUE AWARDS: 

League MVP: #5 Connor Manson, Defensive End

  • 40 Tackles, 9 sacks (Avg: 5 tackles/game, 1.1 sacks/game)

Offensive MVP: #10 Chris Duplisea, Quarterback

  • Passing: 1046 yards, 13 TD, 2 INT, 49.6% completion percentage
  • Rushing: 21 carries, 100 yards, 4 TD

Defensive MVP: #53 Samuel Jennings-Lindsay, Linebacker

  • 42 tackles, 4 sacks (Avg: 5.25 tackles/game, 0.5 sacks/game)

Coach of the year: Mark Haggett

  • 19-5 record as head coach since 2016
  • 2016, 2018 AFL Coach of the Year
  • Started with the Tigers in 2014 as Defensive Line Coach and Director of Recruiting
